Is there any cost for our clinic to join?
No — the BrightOak clinic partnership is completely free. There are no setup fees, monthly fees, or referral commissions charged to the clinic. Patients pay BrightOak directly for nurse visit services.
How are our patient protocols handled?
Patients photograph their printed clinic protocol and upload it directly in the BrightOak app. The app structures it into a medication schedule the nurse can reference. If a nurse ever has any uncertainty about a medication or dose, they are trained to call your clinic before proceeding with the injection.
Are BrightOak nurses licensed and trained?
Yes. All BrightOak nurses are licensed RNs who complete a specialized fertility injection training program before they can accept any appointments. They are approved by BrightOak admin after completing training and credential verification.
What happens if a nurse is unsure about a protocol?
BrightOak nurses are strictly trained to never administer an injection they are uncertain about. They will call your clinic directly for verification before proceeding. Patient safety always comes first.
How do we receive patient referrals from BrightOak?
Referrals appear in your clinic portal in real time. You can also set a forwarding email address so that every new referral is emailed directly to your team. Referrals include patient contact info and treatment type.
Can we upload our own educational materials for patients?
Yes. You can upload PDFs, documents, and resource links to your clinic's Resource Library. Patients who have selected your clinic see this content in their "My Clinic" section of the app.
Do patients have to use BrightOak if they're our patients?
No. BrightOak is an opt-in service. Patients choose to download and use the app. Your clinic simply gets listed in the Fertility Clinic Directory and can set up a portal at no cost — there is no obligation for your patients to use BrightOak.
How do we get our clinic listed and set up?
Submit a free directory inquiry at brightoak-fertility.com/join-directory. Our team creates your in-app directory listing and contacts you to set up your full clinic portal — most clinics are live in under 24 hours.
Is the platform HIPAA compliant?
BrightOak is built with HIPAA-conscious design principles and fertility-specific workflows. Patient data is handled securely and is only accessible to the patient, their assigned nurse, and authorized administrators.
Can we book injection appointments directly for our patients?
Yes. From the clinic portal you can schedule a BrightOak nurse visit on behalf of a patient — selecting the date, time, and injection type. The appointment goes straight into the BrightOak nurse dispatch system and the patient receives automatic confirmation.
